Packaging

This is a jar of cream weighing 450 gram. The price was MYR 80.00. MYR 2.67 for 15g.

This is called an ointment box. It can hold 15 gram of the cream. Around MYR 0.10 each.

The price of the cream per 15g of ointment box = MYR 2.77.

The jar form has been banned by our government.

This is the new packaging of the same cream in 15g tube form.
Price per tube = MYR 16.80.

New price = 606% x old price.

Price of ointment box = MYR 0.10.

Price of tube = MYR 14.13.

one thing bad about the ointment box… some docs never label what drug is contained within

i suppose that the drug information is printed on the tubes?

Singapore Airlines : Yup, the information is now included in the extra MYR 14.13 tube, and in every single extra MYR 14.13 tube. How convenient. :)
