Merry Christmas 2006
Merry Christmas 2006 to all readers.
This year, drliew.net is bringing you santarinas all the way from the land of kimchi!
Yongin Everland (N 37°17′29.13″ E 127°11′57.52″) is celebrating its 30th anniversary. For 45 days, they are holding ‘Christmas Fantasy Parade’ at 2pm everyday till Christmas.
Their staffs greet visitors by holding up both hands in front (elbows at right angle) and twisting their hands back and forth repeatedly. Kind of unique if not weird. I guess they are trying to tell people either ‘I don’t have what you wanted’ or ‘I didn’t take your stuff.’

This SYT is not from the Christmas parade. She mans the entrance.
And some videos…
Don’t ask me why that auntie kept 搶鏡頭. The machine was spraying clumps of tiny soap bubbles for snow at the back and she went to join the fun, only to be disappointed, I guess. I like the song, by the way.

well today is boxing day, still not too late to wish you, doc. (anyway, there are 12 days of christmas!).
HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!
nice pictures and video. 45 days prior to christmas, they had been holding the parade? from 10 november they already started the parade? and everyday? wow! admire their enthusiasm.
Merry Christmas to you too, lucia. You are right, 45 days, everyday, 2pm sharp. Maybe they might cancel the performance for the day if they have snow storm or something. After this, starting January 1st, for 64 days, it will be Snow Festival with some other performance.
It is said that Koreans take Christmas seriously. The Christmas mood in Yongin Everland showed it all. But outside Everland, Christmas decoration is something like Malaysia, you’ll find a Christmas tree or two, some lightings etc, plus some Santa Claus, santarinas, Rudolph at major shopping complexes running around, that’s all.
i went there at May they also paraded macam Xmas coming like that.
This is the amusement park that LG built, right?
