Three Potato Brothers

I like French fries, especially the shoestring type. Frozen fries, very hot oil, fry until outside crispy and dark gold. Then you patahkan and smoke (steam) come out from the middle. Fulamak fulat!

Sometimes I sprinkle Ajinomoto salt or Himalayan rock salt. Tried Ajinomoto pepper salt, not a fan. My crazy jimuis dipped in coke like those angmohs… siao zahbohs…

Don’t like crinkled fries. Too fat. My cooking method will make the inside take too long to cool down.

What about Kepji mia wedges? That one different la. Nice, but not as eleganto as French fries coz you need to jilat jari. Unless you are siao zahboh eat with fork one.

But today this one is Yapenis mia Three Potato Brothers, from Hokkaido one, by Calbee company. Calbee actually stands for ‘calcium and vitamin B’, Wikipedia say one.

It is like freeze-dried French fries. Very crunchy like biting potato chips, only that this one is sebatang-sebatang one. Not oily. Can add salt, dip in cheese sauce, chili sauce, tomato sauce, Cholula sauces, mayonnaise etc. One of my friends said can add wasabi. Don’t believe that siao zahboh, coz she mad one, miso soup also goan add wasabi.

Very difficult to get. Can try online. Online price is RM63.00 for 10 bags of 18g.
