How to cast your Samsung DeX to an external monitor while your Samsung Galaxy S7 FE remains in its tablet mode.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick settings panel.
- Find the DeX icon, press and hold it briefly.
- Tap DeX on TV or monitor.
Mouse functions on the DeX screen but not on the tablet.
Bluetooth keyboard works on both, depending on which one has the focus.
The touch function on the portable monitor (via HDMI or USB-C) doesn’t work.
By tapping the square icon on the lower left corner of the tablet, you can turn it into a track pad for Samsung DeX.
